View from a pillbox
I really liked the contrast of looking out of the murky turrets and seeing the clear blue sky and turquoise sea in the distance. I can’t imagine the soilders would have cared about the view though!

We stopped at a rice museum to learn about how the Vietnamise make rice. We were shown by a very cute eldery woman (so tiny!) how rice is irrigated and turned into rice flour.
